How can I change the date format used in iTunes?

I recently bought a new PC with Windows 8.1 and installed the latest version of iTunes (12.1.1.4), my old PC used to display time formats as DMY but my new PC is using MDY.

My operating system uses the DMY format, I cannot find any options in the iTunes preferences and I'm using the UK iTunes Store. I don't know what else to try.
