How can I use hyper-V in windows 7 on a Macbook pro using Bootcamp ?
When I try to connect to server localhost there is an Error LIKE THIS :
"Hyper-V has not been installed on computer localhost"
I have searched internet but couldn't find anything useful to solve my problem
I m on macbook pro with retina
any idea ?

My MBP (mid 2010) is suffering from the Intermittent black screen or loss of video issue. More specifically, it may happen that when switching from dedicated to integrated graphics, the screen goes black. Only a reboot helps in this case.
So I tried to disable the automatic graphics switching (via "System Preferences" -> "Energy Saver"). Nevertheless, graphics switching still occurs; I can't say when or what's causing that, though. It always appears to be the case after waking up from sleep / suspend-to-ram. As per gfxCardStatus, "Dynamic Switching" is enabled then, which is exactly what I seeked to prevent via the systems preferences.
Is there a way to permanently disable the dynamic graphics switching and only work with the discrete graphics? I wouldn't mind the shortened battery lifetime if that helped to prevent the black screen issue to occur.
n my workplace we have a FortiNet VPN. On my desktop, I use FortiClient to access it. The iOS FortiClient app keeps crashing on iOS 8, and from a quick search in the App Store I see only branded apps (for Junos, Checkpoint, etc..).
Is there any way I can connect to my work's SSL VPN using my iOS device?

As you know in new oS X yosemite we have built in notification system which indicate us with new skype message for example, and let us to reply without showing up whole app. It's very good idea. But I need to have hotkey to avoid clicking reply by mouse in that small notification popup. It will help to make reply faster and to do not look for trackpad or mouse.
Do we have such ability ?

I am a long time very satisfied user of Journler. Now, after a system upgrade, this program no longer works - and it is indeed no longer being developed for some years. So: On for a search for a replacement.
The usual suspects, as already Anno 2009 or so, are MacJournal, Yojimbo, Together. EagleFiler has since arrived, and DEVONthink with a large range of products too.
But somehow I have the impression that this kind of software a) has not really been further developed, and b) is not being used as such anymore, or at least discussed. Most articles I've found are a few years old. And when I look at the Google Trends me - here, for example, of MacJournal, the trend is clear (down, down).
Is that because now Finder with Spotlight, tagging, etc. can replace pretty well these "collections"?
I would be interested to hear what you think about it or what your experiences are.

Title says it all - I'm unable to connect to any VPN server. It doesn't matter if I'm using WiFi or Ethernet and I've tried multiple routers in different locations as well.
Both L2TP and PP2P connections won't connect. I've uploaded some sample connection logs for the PPP connection as well as the L2TP connection.

Since I can't seem to be able to connect to any network, I'm strongly assuming there must be something wrong with my Mac's network settings and not the actual VPN settings themselves. Maybe some messed up IP configuration? So - is there a way for me to completely reset all network settings (maybe pinpointed to VPN, if that's possible)?
