I've got a MacBook Pro in dual boot MacOSX + Ubuntu. I'm sharing a home partition between the two, with HFS+ filesystem, and a Data partition, also in HFS+.
In the Data partition I placed my Dropbox folder, which I'm hoping to share between the two, since it's around 30 GB. However, every time I change OS, Dropbox restarts syncing everything from scratch, which takes a good day or so.
Is this normal, and if so, is there a way around this that would allow me to share the Dropbox folder between the two OSs?
