How can I win the Apple student scholarship program?

WWDC 2015 is about to come. I've been meaning to go there for a very long time but it's pretty costly and I'm only a student. It's a fun place where you can meet new people,learn new things. I'm currently 19 years old and I develop iOS apps. I'm aware of how the selections will happen,i'll have to make a app about myself and the whole Xcode project has to be sent to Apple with a college proof. Can anyone give me advice on how to proceed forward with this and perhaps if someone who won can answer it would be awesome.
