My iphone is not sending messages to a iphone user and it is erasing the message from my iphone as well.

My iphone is not sending text messages to another iphone user. The messages that I sent that day were all erased on my iphone when i typed the message, with ten seconds of me typing them. Making it look like I never sent a text message at all. Is any body aware of a program that would make this happen?
