I recently hooked up an external hard drive to my wifi router for the purpose of shared network storage. My Windows machines are finding the device easily enough under the "Network" tab in explorer, but I'm not managing to find a way to see any other network devices on my Mac through Finder. Go > Connect to Server sends me back an error no matter how I input the network location, and the "Network" directory is just empty.
I've been able to access the files through my internet browser, so the connection is possible, but I want to be able to navigate to the folder through finder. Is there some trick or setting I need to have on in order to access network devices?
