Getting a Mavericks Image and getting back applications

I don't like Yosemite. It's ugly and slow. I want to downgrade to Mavericks. In order to make a bootable I need to download the installer, but my Mac shipped with Mavericks and it's no longer on the app store. How would I be able to download the installer without going to some shady site? I still would like to use the iWork suite but the recent versions only run on Yosemite. I have a backup with the old versions installed but my Mavericks backups are from back before Yosemite came out and I don't want to restore from that. How could I get the old iWork / iLife Suites back? Thanks in advance.
