Which minimum hardware for Smartalbums

I need to use SmartAlbums for my job, but I don't yet have a Mac. I am willing to buy a 2°hand Apple computer to run SmartAlbums but I don't want to overbudget it.

There is anyone that uses this software here and can tell me on which hardware and OS it runs good enough to be usable?
