Sync hell dropbox: SOME files not syncing

this is really strange. Dropbox generally works but SOME file just do not sync. Or rather: Syncing takes forever as you can see here: http://ift.tt/1840ixQ

It is really weird. I try to sync a simple txt or pdf file but it is not uploading. Then, when I just open the file to save it again, the same file uploads. well.

What I tried so far - nothing worked:

• moving the original file to a different location and copy it from there


• disk utility permission repair


• unlinking & re-linking dropbox


• deleting the .dropbox and ~/dropbox


• removing all the files from dropbox, removing them from trash and uploading again


• renaming the file


• asking Dropbox for help (they have no time for the issues aka did not really answered my request i.e. said f*** you)

Any ideas? Same experiences?
