Dvd drive error

I have an SSD 250gb from samsung and an hitachte 500gb HDD. I got a hdd caddy and replaced it with the cd drive from my macbook pro mid 2012 I7 8gb ram. I have tried searching the error code but didn't find very much. Could some one tell me why this error is occurring? Osx does not have a bios so i can't disable the dvd drive. Is there a way to manually change this? if not why does apple not have a check for this in their os...?
