Yosemite flickering icons on menu toolbars [duplicate]

Anyone had any luck fixing the flickering of icons (dropbox, battery, wi-fi, time, etc) on the menu bar (top-right corner of the screen).

I've tried all the hardware resets, toggling reducing transparency, displays have separate spaces, enabling dark menu bar, etc.

Nothing has worked.

Called Apple and they made me do all the hardware and software resets (including OS re-installation!!!) and nothing has worked.

Any luck?

Update: this is not a duplicate since the other thread (Prevent redraw of menu bar icons Yosemite) provides no working solution.
