What important native iOS features would I be missing with Xamarin as my dev platform?

I would like to create a relatively straightforward app involving maps, login, data retrieval...

I want it to be on both iOS and Android and figured on using Xamarin.

Is there anything native to iOS that a cross-platform IDE would not allow me to do?
