Space with open windows. Mac Yosemite

In Yosemite Preferences > Mission Control I have DEselected the option: when switching to an application, switch to a Space with open windows for the application

But this does not work, When I click to any application it switchs to a Space with open windows of that application.

Is there any way to solve it
