Our 5th gen. ipod is Disabled how do I reset it w/o computer

My 5th gen. ipod is Disabled cuz my son put to many wrong password in. How DO I fix a/o computer or iTunes. I JUST want to restore. Nothing important on ipod. Thanks. Oh I've tried holding on/off w circle button at same time
