How to copy text on Google Search textfield, when using Chrome for iOS7?

Once you type the text to be searched on the omnibox, it is replaced by a long URL, e.g. http://ift.tt/1weK234

Then, if you want to select some of the previous text, tap and hold will not work. You can double tap, though, but it doesn't offer the options to Cut, Copy, etc, differently than Safari:
