ibook incorrect pdf display - empty pages, missing text / after editing with Adobe Acrobat Pro

I had to make some small text changes in pdf document and now this document is not displayed correctly in iBooks. Opening in Adobe Reader on iPad is OK. Viewing on the computer is also OK.

I used Adobe Acrobat Pro (version 10 on mac) to make changes.

I guess I need to change some export setting when saving the new document. The old document without small text change is displayed correctly in iBooks.

I already tried different "save as" and "export" options but no success. Can anybody help?

What is causing problem in Books? -pdf version -transparency setting -Fonts???

Please help!
