4s wifi problems

My 4s had the common problem where i could not turn on wifi because the button was gray and would not let me change it. So i tried resetting all my settings and everything and now I can turn on the wifi but underneath the "choose a network" the loading circle keeps on going around and around but nothing ever shows up as a wifi network to join and I know i have wifi in my house because my ipod touch picks it up just fine. What should i do? Thanks
