Partition with Linux format in Disk Utility

I have a sdcard that needs to be Linux format to be used in raspberry Pi or similar Linux embedded board.

I could make partitions with Disk Utility.app, but I can't make them Linux formatted with the utility. How can I format the partition in Linux format?
