Mac menubar not showing some icons?

i'm running Yosemite 10.10.1 on macbook air 2014 early, and i'm not seeing some icons on menu bar and folder and pretty much on browsers too., i have been trying to look whats wrong on systems preferences but i don't seem to find the answers! Anyway thanks guys. i attached the images t make it more clear.
