How to manage App Store carrier?

I have uploaded my first two app to App Store. These are utility apps to get an idea how submit, approval, iAds, In-App purchase works. Now I how some more better ideas. 200 people has already downloaded the two apps yet. I haven't earned an money yet. I am curious what perspective I have. Do you know any stuff, how I should manage my 'carrier' as App Store developer, to get a reasonable income?

I could join other team, work on others idea. What is your standpoint? Do you work in others team, do you work alone? When is it worth to work by yourself?
