How can I sync my photos between my iphone 5s and ipad mini without the laptop?

I have no idea how to sync them WITHOUT the laptop. I have done it with the laptop but is there a way I can do it without setting up to the laptop each time? Surely is should be something easy? PLEASE HELP!
