Akward Sound Problem

I was listening a video on Youtube when i decided to take a brake, coming back, the computer had gone into "sleep" mode and when i wanted to continue the video the sound didin't work and when i went to put it up, at the place of beeing black, fadeed and dosen't allow me to make my sound work with or with out headphones.
